Global Heroes explores the innovative contributions of Canadians such as Robert Schemenauer who has learned to bring water to the villages of desert communities by catching clouds. Other stories profile the contribution of hundreds of Canadians who have risked their lives to accompany refugees threatened by violent attacks.

Written for Canadian students, Global Heroes is a web site featured on SchoolNet, an initiative of the Government of Canada to enhance educational opportunities and achievements in schools across Canada by making national and international resources available to learners and educators, regardless of geographical locations.
